The New.....

Before everything... Happy New Year.

This isn't a New Years Resolution kind of post. But this is how the NEW me will be for the rest of 2012!

MY 2012 Motto: Stay Happy

Being happy and staying happy may find similarities in the word HAPPY but they are two different terms. One asks you to be and the other wants you to stay. I don't want to be happy... I don't need some guy to make me happy. I think I've had enough and ever more reason to be happy everyday with the comfort of my family and friends than having "someone" who will make me happy. I chose to stay happy the way it is now... less complications, less stress, less headache but lots and lots of LOVE!

THE NEW ME:

1. Wants to greet every birthday celebrator on Facebook.
1. still Wants to LEARN to play CHESS.
1. Wants to travel MORE.
1. Wants to REPLY... to your messages, texts, e-mails, and even your phone calls. Alam nyo naman I hate talking on the phone pero e-eeffortan ko.
1. Wants to attend events!
1. Wants to care.
1. Wants to be an impatient bride: SINGLE BUT HAPPY.
1. Wants to be closer to God.
1. Wants to be supremely neat and organize. Hello OC 2012!
1. Wants to COOK better TASTING and Better LOOKING FOOD.[I'll hold baking a bit... eto na ULAM-ULAM here I come! ^_^
1. Wants to FORGIVE.
1. Wants to GRADUATE. GB Grad school.
1. Wants to make other people HAPPY.

Yan muna.... the list goes on!

It's not how we start Publish Postor end a year... it's all the memoirs in between!
MAHAL KO KAYO!

xoxo, Mia

What is CHEATING?

Define. Cite examples. Explain.

What REALLY is cheating

Last night I attended a party with friends. Old friends that I kept and treasured eternally. They are the small group of friends I stayed in love all these years if we compare it to romantic relationships amongst lovers.

In that party, Maybe This Time the song seemed to be the theme of the night. Lovers reunited. Lovers of old times found their way to spark again. Some committed, some single, some taken, some waiting for a second chance, and some regret the lost chance.

Question is... if you met the person who once truly owned your heart... will it beat the same way? Will the half of it still fit? Will it knock on cupid's door for another arrow? Or will it just beat rapidly like the old times but keep it within? Will it shout love in silence? Will it just  learn to let go? Will it move on?

When you saw the person who was once your eternity and you met him/her again WHILE you are in a relationship or WHILE that someone is in a relationship or WHILE you promised to stay single.... ARE YOU CHEATING?

When you meet the eyes of the person who was once your heart and soul, are you cheating?

Are you cheating when you WANT to go back to the years that gone?

What the HELL is CHEATING?

Love, now and always,
Mia

The proclamation also has explanations for declaring Eid'l Fitr, Eidul Adha, EDSA Revolution, Chinese New Year and the day after All Saints Day as Philippine Holidays.

Google holiday Easter eggs bring snow, Hanukkah lights

from http://bit.ly/vSrFzB

With one week to go before Christmas, search giant Google is giving computer users a feel of the season by bringing virtual snow to their browsers.

Computer users who search in Google for “let it snow” – without the quotation marks – will see their screens with snow and frost.

A Google Easter egg one week before Christmas brings snow and frost to the browser when a user types 'let it snow.'
The cursor – or mouse – can then be used to trace messages or doodles, just like a finger against a frosted-over window.

However, those who do not feel the holiday cheer with the frosted screen can always click – or tap – on the “Defrost” button that takes the place of the “Search” button.

As expected, the search results for “let it snow” will display first YouTube videos of the Christmas song “Let It Snow.”

On the other hand, an article on tech site CNET said the special holiday Easter egg is powered by HTML5 technology.

“It might not quite have the wow factor of Google’s famous ‘barrel roll’ bonus, but it’s bound to make your friends and family feel a quick burst of holiday cheer, while also giving more ammunition to the Scrooges in your clan,” it said.

Meanwhile, typing "Hanukkah" on Google search will bring up a string of lights on Google's search results page.

Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem.

It is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar. — LBG, GMA News
