Goodbye Chimie

The name of my car is Chimie. It's a Suzuki Wagon-R Wide Model in black, imported from Japan. Did I say Black? But It's very pink and white inside. Believe me! Yeah, I know GIRLY.

It was a graduation gift to me of my parents. It's official birthday is May 27, 2007, same as the date of my graduation.

It was sold last Wednesday, July 20, 2011, to a very good family from Tondo. The parents said that their daughter would use it in UST. She's a tourism student there.

I hope Chimie likes her new owners. Sorry Chimie. We all need to move on. Keep some things and let go of some. In my life, you are one of those that I need to let go. But that doesn't mean that I will not remember you because YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY FIRST CAR.

Why sell this car?
I don't know... In the four years that we've been together, it served me well. It never stopped in the middle of any roads. But I have to admit that there are times when it fails to Start on me. Despite that, Chimie is a good girl.

Sold this car because it's getting old... and of course, we always want something better. My next CAR? YUNG BONGGA KAHIT BAHA! HAHAHA!

So for everyone who will see Chimie in Manila... I don't own that car anymore... And Please do give me a hug or a tap to her. I will miss her.

Love, now and always,
Mia

www.zupermia.com is shutting down [An April Fool's Post]

Six or seven years ago, I started blogging for the reason of expressing myself and practicing my writing.

Today, I regret to inform you that I will be closing this site permanently due to the demands of my current work. I previously left my content developing job in a book publishing company and accepted a web marketing job. It was a more demanding and challenging job than my previous work that’s why I cannot keep, write, update and maintain this site anymore.

If you have re-blogged any post, file or image, please take this opportunity to download them before April 1, 2011, 11:59pm, after the said date and time the site will be suspended.

I would like to give a warm thank you to all of you who have been part of the zupermia.com. We have built this site together, I write the posts but you my readers and followers gave the life to every post read. Your support has had a meaningful impact for me and this site.

Gone

If there was one person in this world that know the feeling of being left behind, I think that person, in no less--would be--ME.

I never experienced living real with parents way back when I was a kid. They often leave us behind... My father, ever since my older brother was born, has already been working out of the country as a seaman. My mother is a teacher in the same school where my brother and I studied but right before I stepped into that school she resigned. Yupsy. She choose to accompany my dad in his sail works, joining him and leaving us behind.

As young as 5 I was 'home'less, in homes' most sacred definition. I never knew what family means in life... all I know is that my mother and father leaves us to my Maternal grandparents who asks my parents to pay every cent they spend in us. My parents thinks everything's ok... what they do not know is the pain stuck in my older brother's and I's heart while they are away. My parents can pay every cent but how can they pay us? How can they pay us when those people they trusted in the past--to care for us in their place--where the one's who neglected us like them? These people where the one's who abused our innocence... these people who throws curses on us whenever our young minds makes mistakes... these people who hit and beat us when we are not sure of what is right and wrong to do.

How can my parents bring back FAMILY? the meaning of family when we are young.... could have been all the times' I should have known the feeling of family and what it feels to have one.

Then everything else goes back to sacrificing for our family, for our family to be able to live, for us to have better future, for our family to have this, that and so on... Our family... but up-to-this date, what 'FAMILY is' is still unclear to me.

But they're not just the one's that left me behind... my two maternal uncles later on followed but their reasons are understandable... they need to work. Oh... maybe my parents needs to work too... but how come mom should be there too?

All of my paternal aunts and untie's also left us, for reasons of studies, work and marriage.

Years after my grandfather, from both sides, soon left. Died.

Years after Dad's Mom died too.

When will my time come too? I hope it doesn't end in a decade.

Gone. Done. I know how it feels to be left behind. I know how it feel to have something and lose it in a snap. I know how hard it is to think that someone will never comeback again. I know.

But thinking of someone gone, just thinking about it makes me teary eyed. It makes me sick. My heart breaks. My chest feels like a bomb in tics and tacs for its last minute.

One Miss Call

Ringing.
Beeping.
Ringing.
The Vibrato is screaming.
I wasn’t any near to answer your call.
I wasn’t any near to fall. Pit fall.
I missed one call and it’s your call…
It shouldn’t have happened if I was waiting for you all along.
Should have diverted it if I never really liked you call—but I do, sometimes.
How did that happened?
Rewinds…
Left my phone at home. Went out with friends.
Didn’t tell you where I was, who I’m with, what I’ll do—for one damn simple reason, “I forget about you, us, ours.
Recited 5,000 times this promise (before):
Find time. Give time. Our time.
But…
How the hell I failed?
Could it be that my mind forgets and my heart still remembers?
Could it be that my mind remembers but my heart rejects?
Could it be that my mind and heart already had forgotten?
We used to say, “Bet on me like I bet on you.”
Like be there for me like I am here for you
Like hold me like I hold you.
Like need me like I need you.
Like love me like I love you.
Like me, like you.
I missed you call--- our first and last one missed call.
Missed it. It slipped with me knowing.
Like holding a rope pulling it at first and letting it go.
I can never bring back the time of ringing. I can reply and call back but never re-call.
I’m sorry I missed it. Therefore, meant to be the last missed call.
Goodbye.

So Remember Me One Day as Kind

When I die, I want people to remember me as kind. It hasn’t always been that way. Four years ago, I was a very different person, a wounded...
