Last night I attended a party with friends. Old friends that I kept and treasured eternally. They are the small group of friends I stayed in love all these years if we compare it to romantic relationships amongst lovers.
In that party, Maybe This Timethe song seemed to be the theme of the night. Lovers reunited. Lovers of old times found their way to spark again. Some committed, some single, some taken, some waiting for a second chance, and some regret the lost chance.
Question is... if you met the person who once truly ownedyour heart... will it beat the same way? Will the half of it still fit? Will it knock on cupid's door for another arrow? Or will it just beat rapidly like the old times but keep it within? Will it shout love in silence? Will it just learn to let go? Will it move on?
When you saw the person who was once your eternity and you met him/her again WHILE you are in a relationship or WHILE that someone is in a relationship or WHILE you promised to stay single.... ARE YOU CHEATING?
When you meet the eyes of the person who was once your heart and soul, are you cheating?
Are you cheating when you WANT to go back to the years that gone?
Let's keep this short and straight. I don't have feelings for him anymore but since my phone reminded me about the place and date we "should" meet today... that I can't go anymore... I think ONE last blog post about him would be enough to honor our relationship before and to make him know that I've already forgiven him.
Yes, I'm ready for FRIENDSHIP. Actually, all that I have now and all that I've become... I owe him. If not to him, I wouldn't even be HERE. So, thanks.
To the person who made me realize the meaning of PAIN, to the person who made walking in the rain without an umbrella fun, to the person who keeps catching me no matter how many times I keep on falling, to you who completed the X in my Y axis... To the person broke my heart into pieces? I mean, to you who powderized it into tiny atomic particles... lol. Happy Birthday.
Love, now and always,
Mia

The Three Month Rule states that there is a mandatory three-month period in the end of a relationship where the broken couple stays single for at least 3 months. This rule gives both parties the time to heal or prepare themselves before their ex dates/loves someone new.
The Three Month Rule states that there is a mandatory three-month period at the beginning of a relationship where things are perfect . If you're not serious over someone, don't date more than three months, because that's when people get comfortable enough around each other to start letting their faults show. When dating someone or starting a relationship, set your mind that if anything bad happens in the first three months, you are ready to walkout and disappear. No emotional attachment that you can't move on from, it didn't work out[in the beginning and won't work out till the end] and it's just over.
I never believed in the three month rule. Perhaps, I never really had a real relationship yet, worth the three month "idle" period. Or maybe, I believe that falling in and out of love is like a body of water... you are free to stream, wave, flow wherever the water takes you.
If you found the right one, could you control your heart to stop beating for him/her? It's called falling in love [or falling out of love for this matter...], you don't force yourself to be in love[or out of love], you just fall.

Facts about L.O.V.E :)) <3 (from someone else's blog)
1. A man won't let go if he really loves you.
Do not hold on to someone who has let go of you. He does not love you and does not value having you. Believe me, he will not let go if he really loves you. There is another reason he is not willing to tell.
2. Do not look for reasons why he ended the relationship.
There is only one reason why he ended your relationship. He just does not love you. Do not waste your time thinking of reasons or what you should have done. Move on and be open to a man who will truly love you.
3. Do not get hang up on your past.
Do not nag or distrust your current boyfriend just because your ex hurt you. Do not treat him or the relationship the same way. Do not compare. He will not react the same way as your ex. Do not be worried that your simple mistakes will cause him to look for another girl. What happened with your ex was not your fault. It was not because you didn't guard him enough or you didn't make him happy enough.
4. Do not look into images.
How many times have you met a girl who didn't have the best image in school or at the office, but you get to know the girl and found out she was actually extremely nice? Do not rely on images. Oftentimes, it is far from reality. Do not fear men just because your "supposedly" perfect ex-boyfriend mistreated you.
5. Always have your own set of rules.
Set your limits on how far you'd go for a guy. It's perfectly ok to give and do everything as long as it's worth it. And it's worth it if the guy is treating you right.
6. Do not be scared to lose him.
Don't be scared that he'll break up with you. Once you are afraid of losing him, you easily can be taken advantage. Be strong and if something is unacceptable, do not accept it and speak up.
7. Avoid calling your guy.
It's a guy thing. The relationship will definitely be better if it's the guy who's calling, not the girl. He will get tired of you if you keep on calling. He will lose interest and challenge. More so, he will get annoyed. But it's a girl thing also that your fingers get too itchy until you dial his number. But avoid as much as possible. Call only if really needed (like checking if your suspicions are reasonable).
8. There is a guy who will value you.
There is a guy out there who can make you feel valued, appreciated, and loved. And I mean, not just during your first few weeks together. So don't lose hope. Don't settle for a lesbian if you are not attracted to women. There is a man out there who can love you like a girl can
Also, do not believe him when he says it's just the way he really is. He's not the sweet or expressive-type. Remember during your first few weeks together? Where has that sweet guy gone? He simply is not that into you anymore.
9. Always be the only one, no matter what.
Do not ever fall for a guy who has another girl, be it his wife, girlfriend, or any girl that he says he just can't get rid of for whatever reason. If you truly believe that he loves you and for some reason, he can't leave or let go of another girl, then you are no different from any ordinary mistress.
10. He must respect you.
No matter how long the relationship has been, he should always show respect towards you.
11. If he fooled you, end it.
Philandering once is enough. You can never trust nor respect the person again.
12. Never start a relationship the wrong way.
Do not steal another girl's man, for whatever reason. Nor should you enter a relationship for the wrong reasons (loneliness, on the rebound, getting back at your ex, man-dependency, etc.) it is bound not to last. You will only end up wasting more years of your life.
13. Do not force yourself into a relationship.
Do not get into a relationship just because your friends are getting impatient with your dating escapades and the one hasn't come yet. Do not choose who to say yes to based on superficial things like money, looks, cars, etc.. If you are even thinking of these things, you have not fallen in love yet.
14. Do not settle.
If you are not happy anymore with your relationship, break up instantly. He will not stay with you forever no matter how upright he might seem to be. Eventually, he will also want love and happiness in his life.
15. A relationship has to have love.
Love is the only thing that will push you to give your efforts into making the relationship work. And believe me, keeping a relationship requires genuine efforts of both parties.
16. Don't be afraid to be single.
It's fun to be single, try it. You can go out whenever and wherever you want. You are free. You can date whomever you want and you get to go out for free! Do not get a boyfriend just for the sake of having one. Do not settle.
17. Be a good girl.
Be a good girl to attract a good guy. Enter the relationship with sincere intentions. Take the guy and the relationship seriously with the plan of spending the rest of your life with that person (of course, this is after you had your bit of fun in your younger years). If you compare your flings from your real relationships, you will know that the latter makes you happier and more fulfilled.
18. Love without limits.
Whether you loved and gave everything or loved but held out for some things, if the relationship ends, you still get hurt. But if you gave your everything, you were happy and you could say that it was worth it. If you didn't give your all, you get hurt for nothing.
19. You will get over him.
Love is over-stated. Love eventually ends and you are free to love another.
20. Be the one.
Act like you are the one. Don't be a nagger. Don't hinder his gimmicks. Don't give in to him too easily. Make him treat you as important. Don't be easy. Don't be like every other girl he had in his life.
That’s it? No mad Mom restricting her daughter about late dates and PDA? No Dad worried about daughter’s whereabouts?
No courtship stories of weird fun challenge—eat tuyo, eat monggo seed, “shout to world you love me!” Be here exactly 3am. Bring me mangoes from Guimaras. Let's ride this jeep. Let's walk ten thousand miles. Let's stay up till the next midnight.
If it's an instant yes, there will be no LQ stories of I’m sorry, I’m never gonna do it again, I’ll never break your heart? Give me one more chance baby? Look… you and me are meant to be!, One last chance with you? Look into my eyes and tell me you don't love me...
No sweet baby love talks of....? “I miss you baby!” “Be my pie… Cutie pie!” “Why do you love me?” “You complete me” “Hug Me” “I need you” "God has destined me to be with you"
I, personally, would want to watch love grow. There will be heartaches, there will be pain, but in the end, you'll still savour love at its best. I would rather experience love in its CRUEL-est form... Than be in love.
"Than I'm in love... the end"
I would want someone chasing me head over heels. I would want to drop you first like a hot potato then, go crawling back to you, begging I realized I love you. I would want some action, mom and dad shouting mad at their stupid lil daughter. I would wish your Mom to curse me, I would like her to disagree, just for the sake of story.
I would want our love story to be GAY. to be happy... together with its up, down, under. I wouldn't want it easy. Make-break-make is challenging. I love you then I hate you then I love you should be a habbit.
In this way, love is never tiring. Exciting. Something to look forward to. Some so constant, yet so unconstant to us.... it's ours.
I’m goddamn sure I have feelings for him… before. I like him so much, that “much” isn’t enough to justify it.
For almost 5 years, I’m in loving-hating-loving this man. When I talk/chat/txt/communicate with him, it feels like my heart stops to beat for awhile, time freezes moving, my breathe holds on and it’s just him that revolves-evolves around me.
But it doesn’t go the same way around him…. For him, I’m just a friend. Prolly, someone like sister or a girl buddy. It took me sometime to finally realize that. It took me like 4 and ½ years to finally understand that our friendship would never blossom to something special.
He still keeps a special place in my heart. He’s the guy I hold hands with on one of my very special day—the hands I hold on tight before are the hands I fully let go now.
I thought I wouldn’t ever let go. I thought I will never forget about him. I thought I’ll be forever stuck, going back, crawling over him… but NO. I already forget about it. I actually forgot about his birthday—that I never forget since the day met him. I even deleted him in my ym and contacts and never made the move to save it again. I have a copy of it but I place it somewhere I almost forgotten. I don’t bug him anymore like before.
I realized that my happiness isn’t the same as his happiness. I’m happy with him, he's not happy with me. “Maybe the cupid who shut my heart missed in shutting his.” So ang ending ako mahal ko siya, siya hindi ako mahal.
But come to think of it… I still love him. I’ve known him for a long time. Now, I only love him like a brother and a friend, nothing more and sensual about it. I’ve move on with the space and time he gave and I thank him for that.
We never started and never ended love… we now have the love of long and lasting friendship that never ends.
It's never US but at least we tried… I have a thing for you before. You gave me a chance. It’s just it didn’t prosper. Whenever I see a boat in the water, I always think of you. I think of myself as the lake on those days, that you where just there to float, and will never sink to be with me...
