There are different kinds of shoes for different occasions and people. I love heels and among my favorites are the wedges and cone heels.

Different Women Shoe Styles
Ankle Straps

An ankle strap shoe has one or multiple straps that, as the very name suggests, fasten around the ankle. Straps can include laces, ribbons and other material to wrap around the lower part of the leg.

Ballet Flats

Also known as ballerina flats, the ballet flats have been inspired from ballet shoes and have become useful for women of all shapes and sizes. A ballet flat is a flat heeled, enclosed shoe, almost like a slipper. It is easy to slip on and is available in different designs and shapes, with beads, jewels, fringes and flowers.

Kitten Heels

Kitten heels have a thin-based low heel that tapers sharply to a narrow base. The heel is usually 1.5 inches or less and is slightly set in from the back of the shoe. These shoes combine comfort with a little bit of extra height and go well with most outfits.

French Heels

French heels are shoes with a medium height, having a curved heel that is somewhat chunkier than a Kitten heel.

Mary Janes

A Mary Jane reminds you of your school days, as it is like the round-toed, low-heeled shoe that children wear to school. A distinctive feature of Mary Jane is the single or double strap that crosses the middle top of the foot. It comes in varying heights and styles.

Mules

A mule is covered in the front, just like a normal shoe and the back is open. It is easy to slip on and comes in various heights and different heel shapes.

Pumps

Pumps are low cut shoes that surround the foot without any fastenings. They are available in leather, micro fiber and other fabrics.

Peep Toes

A peep toes shoe is open at the tip of the toes, to show part of the toes, but not the whole toe line. The opening of the shoe is small and rounded or wedge shaped.

Platform Shoes

Platform shoes are thick soles that sit under the front part of the foot and are combined with wedges, chunky heels or stilettos. They are known as platform wedges, when they are combined with a wedge heel.

Sandals

Sandals are shoes with open toes and backs, with single or multiple straps for fastening. A number of sandal designs are available, depending on the type and material of straps and height of heels.

Sling-backs

Sling backs are a cross between a mule and a full shoe. They have a strap that connects the sides and back to the front of the shoe, instead of a closed back. They come in varying heights and can have open toes or a fully closed front.

Stiletto Heels

Stilettos or spiked heels refer to high heels that are pointy and thin. The slender and very feminine heels can be as high as 6 inches.

Wedge Heels

A wedge is based on the same shape as a triangular door-stop. The heel extends from the back of the shoe to right under the foot, thus running in a wedge shape from back to front. Wedges come in different heights.

Of Heels, Men Wearing Heels And Other Heels Story!

I remember wearing heels as early as 11 years old. It's a black one, platform sandals, about 2.5 inches high… It kinda looks like this, but what I have has a thicker heel support.

I also remember that no one taught me or told me to wear heels; mom is certainly not into this kind of things. Anyways, I just wore one to imitate Barbie and, of course, so that I wouldn’t step the bottom of my longer-than-my-height jeans.

I love wearing heels, even if it makes my feet tired and uncomfortable. Also, whenever I wear one, it makes me look very lady-like. Plus, the level of confidence it gives me is overwhelming… Imagine! I’m 3-inch-higher!

Some HIStory:

High heels originated in France around 1500s as male’s footwear. In the late 18th century, men’s heel shoes are designed lower with the exception of the cowboy boots.[Note: REAL cowboy boots are 2 inches high!]

Cuban Heels are also extremely popular to men for bands, rock groups and stars like The Beatles, John Travolta, etc. Only goes to show that heels are not just for us, ladies. Other artists that wear heels are Elton John, Bands such as Mötley Crüe and Sigue Sigue Sputnik and, now, the lead singer of Tokio Hotel is wearing… wedges!

Why do Men love High Heels on Women?

There are many reasons to love heels, even if a man doesn’t have a shoe fetish. Even heels are difficult to be worn over a long period of time, women like wearing heels for it enhances attractiveness to the male specie.

Reasons:

Wearing heels highlights the feminine form.

Women’s hips sways involuntarily when wearing heels.

Women’s legs appear longer in Heels.

Heels makes a woman appear few inches taller.

Women in heels are vulnerable, being in heels makes the ladies unable to move or escape easily and quickly.

But do men really notice heels?

Researchers from Northumbria University studied the reactions of men to women walking in heels and flats. Men were asked to observe women, between 18 and 35, walk without seeing their shoes. However, Men weren't able to distinguish between a woman walking in sensible flats and height-altering heels.

Well, it’s really up to you, Ladies. I wear heels for confidence, for additional height, for aesthetics. But, still, TRUE BEAUTY is inside. If wearing heels makes you feel beautiful and powerful, GO! Just don’t wear it for the sake of getting the attention of the opposite sex.

The long wait is over… Ragnarok’s Episode 22: Renewal is Finally Here!

Being a Ragnarok Player since the blossom of its Odin days, one of the things that excites me playing :are the new headgears, items, maps, jobs, patches, and episodes especially.

Today, Philippine Ragnarok Online officially launches its much awaited Episode—Renewal. Popularly features Ragnarok’s 3rd Job Patch, Episode 22 Renewal: Dawn of the Enlightened Ones, promises to give a whole new Ragnarok experience to its loyal gamers.

First launched in Sakray server last September 9, players’ feedback of the new episode is overwhelming, even players who quitted RO ages ago, played again to try out what pRO, the country’s first and biggest MMORPG, has to offer.

To change to a 3rd Class, one must be level 99 of either the base 2nd Class, or 2nd Transcendent Class.
Changing to a 3rd Job is not like transcending, and you will remain level 99 when you change. [In transcending, you have to be a novice again and start at level. But in 3rd Class, you’ll just continue your 99th level.]
If you are a knight, crusader, priest, monk, wizard, sage, assassin, rogue, blacksmith, alchemist, hunter, dancer or bard and chose to change to your 3rd Job before transcending will be unable to transcend in the future. [The primary advantage of transcending first is that one is able to learn the transcendent skills before turning to the 3rd Class, whereas changing immediately from base 2nd Class would lead to never being able to obtain them. Additionally, characters that change from their Transcendent Class will maintain their 25% HP/SP bonus over non-Transcendent characters.]
Once you change to a 3rd Job character you will be able to level past level 99. The level cap for 3rd Class characters is base level 150 and job level 50. 3rd Class characters are able to increase status points above 99, to a maximum of 120 points in each stat. All 3rd Class characters are able to use equips from previous jobs, including transcendent equips, no matter if the previous job was 2nd Class base or Transcendent.

Here are the 3^rd Jobs available:

ルーンナイト Rune Knight(from Knight or Lord Knight)	§ More offensive-oriented than Knights or Lord Knights. § Reduced reliance on defensive gears. § Skills will be more offensive-oriented. § Will also use Runes, a special type of item, to perform their skills. § A Ferus mount will be available for Rune Knights. § Ferus can be Green, Red, Blue, White, or Black (see Rune Knight page for sprites).
ークビショップ Arch Bishop (from Priest or High Priest)	§ Improved existing supportive skills. § Many new anti-Demon/Undead skills will be added. However, selecting them will reduce the effectiveness of, or cause the player to lose out on some of the supportive skills. § Added skills that allow the Arch Bishop to do physical melee damage.
ウォーロック Warlock (from Wizard or High Wizard)	§ Super strong very large AoE damage spells. § Can memorize different spells to cast them instantly. § Powerful and destructive class.
レンジャー Ranger (from Hunter or Sniper)	§ Added a Wolf (Warg) summoning skill. § Ability to mount a Wolf (Warg). § Strengthens existing bow skills. § Improved single-target traps, as well as allowing usage of multiple traps to achieve new effects.
ギロチンクロス Guillotine Cross (from Assassin or Assassin Cross)	§ Like Assassins, they are a typical DPS type class. § Based around very strong damage, but when a skill fails, there will be backlash to the user. § Many different types of new poisons will be added. Also, the Guillotine Cross will be armed with new skills that use poisons.
メカニック Mechanic (from Blacksmith or Mastersmith)	§ Can now create auto-attacking turrets that were originally slated to be released with the Transcendent Jobs. § Improved skills that make use of items rather than direct battle. § Are able to equip a special type of armor, similar to the 'Magitech Armor' from Final Fantasy VI. § This armor is called 'Mado'. § There will be new skills that make use of the Mado armor.
シャドウチェイサー Shadow Chaser (from Rogue or Stalker)	§ Improved graffiti skills, e.g., Manholes (like in Looney Tunes). § Can use a skill which absorbs area of effect magic while draining SP. § Ability to use a skill which changes the ability of the player.
ミンストレル Minstrel (from Bard or Clown) ----------- ワンダラー Wanderer (from Dancer or Gypsy)	Minstrel: § Skills that improve physical attack and physical defense of party. § Skills that increases the stats of an ally. Wanderer: § Skills that improve magic attack and magic defense of party. § Skills that increases movement speed and attack speed for party. Both: § More offensive skills. § Can cancel out another player's Song/Dance. § Can use a 2nd Class Song/Dance/Duet and a 3rd Class Song/Dance at the same time. § Certain Songs/Dances will improve with more Minstrels and Wanderers in the party.
修羅 Shura(from Monk or Champion)	§ Has more Spirit Spheres than Monks and Champions and has improved Fury. § Has a skill that deals more damage based on the weight of the target. § Has new and improved skills for battle. § New skills concerning counters. § As they take damage, the enemy will receive negative effects. § Has a skill that deals damage based on HP used.
ロイヤルガード Royal Guard (From Crusader or Paladin)	§ Will probably be able to equip two-handed shields. § Will have many new spear exclusive skills. § Increased defensive role: skills will be more defensive-oriented. § More defensive-oriented than Crusaders or Paladins. § Increased reliance on defensive gears. § Defensive counterpart of Rune Knight. § As they take damage, their 'anger gauge' increases, which can be used in strong attacks. § Ability to destroy traps by stepping on them. § Will have a Gryphon mount. § New skills that can only be used with two or more Royal Guards present.
ジェネリック Genetic (from Alchemist or Biochemist)	§ Will have access to an improved version of the Homunculus called "Homunculus S". (Can't use two at the same time. It will be similar to the Falcon or Wolf (Warg).) § New skills concerning the summoning of plants. § Ability to create special food items, and throw items to deal damage. § Will be able to brew many new potions.
ソーサラー Sorcerer (from Sage or Scholar)	§ Practices magic of 5 elements, including the Poison element. § New Spells added (Sages and Scholars/Professors don't have much combat magic). § Some Sorcerer skills should still be useful compared to Warlock magic. § Will be able to use summons. § Some combat magic damage is affected by the user's ATK and MATK.
