Winning the Lottery

Grand Lotto 6/55 is introduced in April 2010, the most recent addition to the lotto categories.As the name states, a six-number combination is chosen from 1 to 55. To win a prize, at least three of one's chosen numbers must match with to those of the six winning numbers.

The odds of getting all six winning numbers, and hitting the winning jackpot combination, are 1 in 28,989,675. The Grand Lotto draw is held every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. In playing a combination in this game, one has to pay P20 for each combination bet.

I’m not one of those people who are patronizing the lottery. But when the winning prize hits millions (of millions… like 100M++), I make it a point to bet at least one combination. I’m not always lucky… but I can gamble my belief in my luck too.

When a friend of my asked me what I’ll do if I ever won a jackpot in the lottery, I told her:

1. I’ll give half of my winnings to my parents(they’ll decide how much to give my brothers)
2. I’ll give my each of my first cousin a million(Kuya Jeff, Jojo, Joebert, Joshua, Christine, Clarice, Chelcy, Tristan, Dianne, Julianne and Marco... so that's 11 million)

I still don’t know what to do with the rest of the millions… But I’d like to franchise a food chain [Jollibee] and open two branches, here and in Singapore. I think I’ll also buy a Cherry Red Ferrari[I've been drooling about it all my lifetime]. And also, buy some stocks [is that how you call it when you want a share? =P] of my favorite online game.
