WHAT: Aural X: An Electronica Workshop with Ely Buendia
WHEN: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on August 27, 2011 (Saturday)
WHERE: U-View Theater, B/L Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street 

Create your own electronic masterpiece under the tutelage of Pinoy music icon Ely Buendia. This intensive 12-hour program will take you through all the different aspects of music production – from conceptualization to songwriting to musical arrangement – using just an iPad, the GarageBand app, and the right-side of your brain. 


Be prepared for a remarkable aural experience, and the opportunity to work with industry pros who will contribute their expertise to your track. 


This workshop is open to male and female applicants ages 13 and above. Applicants must not possess any prior knowledge in music production. Music professionals are not eligible for the workshop. To apply, download the application form here. 


Compose a verse made up of three lines in a 5-7-5 meter. Submit the verse, along with the fully accomplished application form by e-mailing both to auralxmusicworkshop@fullybookedonline.com. The poem and application form must be attached to the same e-mail message. You will receive a confirmation e-mail for your entry. Incomplete application forms will be considered invalid. 

The deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. on August 21, 2011 (Sunday). Ten participants will be chosen, and will be notified via e-mail. The participants must confirm their attendance by replying to the e-mail. They must then place a 50% down payment of the P2000 registration fee at the customer service counter of Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street within 5 days after they receive their confirmation e-mail. This includes meals, equipment, a certificate of completion, and a digital copy of their track. Only participants accepted into the program will be required to pay the workshop fee.
