PLDT plays a big part in my life and of my family. Having a father who works as a seafarer and is always on the ship, we only have limited time to enjoy with each other. But with PLDT, being oceans apart from my father makes us like the waves kissing the shores of the sea. 

It was hard growing up without a father. My dad has always worked as a seaman ever since I was born, so I never really felt how it is to have a Father for a long time--the longest that he's with us is 6 months. 

Although, he may not be with us physically, he makes up for the lost time by calling us every now and then. Through our PLDT Phone line, it makes dad just a phone call away. 

But with the hype of technology, our communication with my father innovated as well. Now, we communicate with him through video calling. We just don't hear him out clearly, we also see him on video streams real time. Video calling technology helps our family be closer to my dad.  

We used to have a lot of problems with video calling before when we are still using dial-up connection to the internet but when we started using PLDT myDSL, we experienced enhanced internet connection and faster video calling to my dad.

It also helps us continue collecting and sharing memorable moments with my dad and our relatives around the globe... my favorite memory that PLDT myDSL made possible was when my mom  prepared a candlelit dinner date via Video Call to my dad during their anniversary.
